The Rev. Steve Miller

Stephen Miller grew up in Albuquerque. Graduating from University of New Mexico in 1965, he moved to Kentucky to attend Lexington Theological Seminary. He received his MDiv in 1968 and was ordained as a Disciples of Christ minister. He received a Doctorate of Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary in 1985. Stephen served Disciples congregations in California, New Mexico, Colorado, and Michigan. He also served as the director of an interfaith agency. He returned to Albuquerque in 2001. Here he has been interim pastor at a Disciples congregation, a UCC congregation, and a Presbyterian congregation. He is now on staff part time with the Presbytery of Santa Fe.

Stephen is married to Carrie Miller who teaches at New Futures School in Albuquerque. He has a son and a daughter and 3 grandchildren. Carrie's daughter, Kelly, lives with Stephen and Carrie. Stephen plays guitar, writes songs, plays and sings with the Celtic Coyote band, rides his bicycle, is on the New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light board, is active with Partnership for Earth Spirituality and many civic organizations.
