The Rev. Julian Phillips

Conference Administrator

The Rev. Julian Phillips was an ordained United Methodist Minister, originally from the North Alabama Conference. In 2001, his ordination was transfered to the Southwest Conference of the United Church of Christ. He is a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Albuquerque. He has served as pastor of churches in Alabama, Tennessee and Texas. He received his Master's of Theology Degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Following his graduate work in Seminary, he was trained in the practice of pastoral psychotherapy at the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center in Dallas, where he served on the staff as therapist and supervisor for almost twenty years. Julian has been with the New Mexico Conference of Churches since August of 1995 and has served as Conference Administrator from October 1997 to the present.
