The Rev. Carole McGowan

President

The Rev. Carole McGowan has been a member of the current Board since 2005. She had previously served on the Board in the early 90's and on NMCC's Eco-Justice Working Group. She is the rector of St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Albuquerque. Before coming to Canterbury in 1990 she was on the staff of Bexley Hall, an Episcopal seminary in an ecumenical setting at Rochester, NY. Mother McGowan has also served congregations in the Rochester, NY area and in Cincinnati, OH. She received her AB from Vassar College, and MFS (Master of Forest Science) from Yale University and an MDiv from Nashotah House.
