Ms. Janice FowlerJanice Fowler is a New Mexico native with a diverse work background. She currently freelances doing administrative support for nonprofit organizations including NMCC. Ever since her college days, Janice has been involved in nonprofit organizations as a participant, board member, and officer. During her eleven years freelancing, she has performed a myriad of tasks including graphic layout, bookkeeping, fiscal analysis and budgeting, project management, research and writing, mail list maintenance, grant writing, webmaster, indexer, newsletter editor, financial secretary, and managing editor.

Janice’s education includes a B.S. from New Mexico State University, 1982; completion of the Stanford Professional Publishing Course, Stanford University, 1999; and completion of the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program, Management Development Center, Anderson School of Management, UNM, 2000.

She enjoys fiberarts, reading, music, gardening and lives in Placitas with her husband, five dogs, numerous chickens, and ducks.
